The bank HVB Ukraіne, which belongs to an international banking group - HVB Group, switched to a new solution for payroll accounting - ІW HR&Payroll, designed and implemented by Innoware consulting company. The solution was developed on the platform of Mіcrosoft Busіness Solutіons-Navіsіon (currently Mіcrosoft Dynamіcs NAV) and certified by Mіcrosoft Busіness Solutіons.
The decision to implement new technologies was taken based on the results of existing software audit. Previous payroll accounting solution was acknowledged outdated. According to the Chief of control and risk control department, Taras Prots, during the last years the staff of the bank doubled and software discontinued to satisfy growing needs of the bank.
The main criteria for selecting the new system and supplier were operation reliability, functionality and data security.
Among special requirements of HVB Ukraine there was the guarantee that a new solution would integrate with the main bank system ("operation day"), be easily tuned according to the legislation updates, and differentiate the access rights for different users.
According to Taras Prots, ІW HR&Payroll solves all these problems. Moreover, the important fact that influenced the choice of the system was that Innoware solution is possible to integrate with the other bank products simultaneously.
According to General Director of Іnnoware, Dmytro Popinako, banks are always among very active users of new technologies that can positively influence operational efficiency. "We are happy that our solution was selected and currently helps the western bank to continue holding accurate accounts with the personnel, observe all requirements of Ukrainian legislation and also get access to the latest developments in the area of human resources management. In future this Іnnoware solution can also be used to improve the functions of recruitment, assessment, development and motivating the personnel, which will allow the bank to increase the quality of client service".
ІW HR&Payroll implementation in HVB Ukraіne was the ninth project in the Eastern European countries for the period from 2001 to 2003 and the second one in an international bank.
