IW Pharma is intended for the companies involved into distribution of pharmaceutical products. It has a number of important features and takes into account all branch specifics which allows pharmaceutical distributors to use the solution as a strategic business management tool.
IW Pharma keeps record of the drugs by their consignment and serial numbers, tracks expiration dates to write drugs off according to FEFO (First Expired First Out). All products can be conveniently grouped by predefined types (e.g.: pain killers, anesthetics, food additives, etc) or any other features.
The solution supports calculation of certain substances percentage in medicines (e.g. poison). When forming the retail medicine price, IW Pharma tracks markup limitations. It also supports drug certificates, using their scanned copies when forming the sales documents package.

For example, it features Material Resource Planning (MRP) tool which allows to instantly form the proper purchase of medicines or to move them to where they would meet the demand best. Such type of planning is based on a definite procedure and may include a set of parameters, such as minimal and maximal stock in the warehouse, delivery terms, minimal order quantity at the supplier's, transport loading, open sales orders, ABC- and XYZ-analysis etc.
Additional optimization of operations is possible thanks to address-based warehouse storage. IW Pharma will automatically distribute medicine into cells and zones of the warehouse (e.g. temperature regulations zone), decreasing requirements to the stockmen qualification and increasing the speed of the drug selection.
