 The vertical solution for ceramic tile manufacturers named AX Tile Solution is planned to be deployed in all Emilceramica production facilities in Italy, USA, and other countries.
Zeus Ceramica, the Ukrainian subsidiary of Emilceramica S.p.A., started implementation of enterprise resource planning system (ERP) in its plant in Slovyansk, Donetsk region. The future system will cover business processes in logistics as well as warehouse, tax, financial and administrative accounting. The estimated cost of the project is 100,000. The launch of the system is planned for January, 2009. The Microsoft Dynamics AX-based vertical solution for ceramic tile manufacturers named AX Tile Solution is being implemented by Innoware (Ukraine). Emilceramica plans to expand AX Tile Solution to cover the rest of its production facilities in Italy, USA, and other countries.
Emilceramica S.p.A. who is a major stakeholder of Zeus Ceramica occupies the 7th place among ceramic tile manufactures in Italy with its 10,620,000 corporate capital and 173,000,000 consolidated turnover. After its launch, debugging, and thorough tuning in Ukraine the system should be deployed in other countries where production facilities of Emilceramica are located. According to this strategy, top management of Emilceramica HQ focused its efforts on the choice of a proper platform as well as a team who will be able to implement the system in the Ukrainian plant. This process took more than a year. As a result, the project was started with Innoware as the implementation consultant and Microsoft Dynamics AX as the platform."

In addition to Ukrainian localization of Microsoft Dynamics AX, the solution supports all the specific needs of ceramic tile manufacturers, e.g. tile caliber, shade and grade, other parameters such as manufacturer & brand, color & collection, freeze/thaw resistance, impact resistance, etc. The vertical module was developed by 4Dynamic (Italy), while Innoware specialists integrated it into the main system adjusting it to local requirements.
During the project Innoware will implement new logistics management system, as well as functionality for warehouse, tax, financial and administrative accounting. Emilceramica HQ representatives personally control the compliance of financial statements to the corporate standards. The solution will also be integrated with the existing local accounting system which is used for payroll needs.
As Maksym Mohylevets, Project Manager from Innoware notes, the solution will be geographically distributed. The software for managing Ukrainian plant will be installed in Italy with remote maintenance and support from Ukraine. Users will also work with the system via remote access.
The estimated cost of the project is 100,000. The launch of the system is planned for January, 2009. After the launch and debugging of AX Tile Solution in Zeus Ceramica plant Emilceramica plans to expand it to the rest of its production facilities in Italy, USA, and other countries.
