On May, 29 Innoware held the master class dedicated to the use of ERP (enterprise resource planning system) in food industry. Kostyantyn Hlushanytsya, Sales Consultant at Innoware, spoke about the implementation and use of ERP in meat processing industry.
In the activity course the present tendencies of meat industry development were analyzed. The participants discussed the problems modern enterprises face with: low quality of raw materials, lack of input, high purchasing prices, lobbying of particular companies' interests etc. Kostyantyn also presented Foodvision, the ERP product of German company Modus Consult.
Foodvision is the end-to end industry solution intended for the enterprise resource management. The solution corresponds to all specific requirements of food processing companies – from manufacturing to food retail. The solution is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP platform; it possesses customary interface of Microsoft applications and can be successfully integrated with the existing IT infrastructure.
Kostyantyn Hlushanytsya demonstrated the ERP functionality using the example of meat processing enterprise; he reviewed supplies, production, relationship with customers (both supermarkets and small shops) and charge control. The specialist also presented the successful Foodvision implementations in foreign companies (Weinrich, Laschinger, M&L Fleisch, EGO, TrendMeal, Merschbrock & Wiese, Gartenfrisch etc). Special attention was paid to the factors which influence the implementation result.
